This is the greatest deal. Lynda.com is a website that has tutorials on all kinds of computer programs. Usually, you get a month free and then you have to pay for it. I've learned that you can get a Lynda subscription (along with a bunch of other online learning) for free with your Los Angeles Public Library card.

Follow this link Free online learning and click on Lynda.com. It will ask you to type your library card number and your PIN. Your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number that you listed on your library card application. If your PIN doesn't work, contact the Los Angeles Public Library through the Contact Us button on their website and they will help you.

When you feel you have learned the material, click on quizstar in the links on the lower right of this page.
On Quizstar, log in on the student login page.
Your username is the first letter of your first name and your last name (ex. Sam Student would be sstudent)
