Thanks to everybody for their hard work! Our 16-page issue looks really good! I know that we ask a lot of you and that we are a VERY small staff but the fact that we overcome so many obstacles makes the final product so much better. I am very proud of the fact that we had five pages worth of news (not counting the front page) and that everybody on staff wrote a news story! I only wish that we had done a 16-page issue much sooner. Thank you for your hard work and I wish that all of you guys would return next year to continue making the Crimson Chronicle something that we can be proud of.
We did it!:D I am proud of the stories i composed this issue and that everybody on staff contributed to our success. There were a couple of mistakes but we are all human we all make mistakes. Editors thanks for doing such a great job at putting the paper together and we went out with a bang.
I felt very proud of this issue, especially since it was our last one for this school year. I thought it was very informative but fun at the same time with the pictures from Junior and Senior prom. I like the story i wrote about the wellness center because i felt it was informative to the students. I also like working on athletes of the month because students get to know who the athletic superstars are at this school.
I am very pleased with this issue, I am glad we were able to successfully print out a 16-paged issue. This was the first time we have attempted it and I'm glad to say everyone did an excellent job turning in their stories on time and turning in the right information. Although at first we had doubts that we were not going to be able to do it, but we did it! We had a few mistakes here and the but after many issue I notice the amount of mistakes are getting less and less. I am very excited for our next issue next year and I hope we can print out a 16 page issue more next year. I got really good feedback from the guys that are in bands and such and I felt really proud that I was able to profile them and their talents. Overall this issue was the best one yet. -Vanessa Garcia
We ended this year with a bang! This small, talented, and versatile staff demonstrated the true meaning of teamwork. We completed our assigned stories and assisted the editors with any miscellaneous work required to assemble Crimson Chronicle's very first 16-page issue. I'm very proud that I was able to write an end for the "How to" but hopefully this issue wasn't its death. I'm also proud of the fact that I was able to interview Mr. Long and record the fact that students are not the only ones who feel that there is a death in school spirit. I'm proud of my articles and everyone else as well. Good job guys!
The completed 16 page issue was a great way to send off the senior editors, and quite an excellent challenge to arise to. I loved how everyone pulled their sand together despite may madness and final projects (15 page essay, chemistry labs and reports, etc.). Altogether a very great accomplishment. I spent time trying to root out the errors, but a bunch of the really bad ones seem to get by myself and the rest of the editors, frustrating, but something to be overcome next year. I wish that I had found more ads, but I am proud of my front page article about the principal and my latest comic, which made my teacher laugh out loud literally. Great for what we set out to do, but it can always be better.
I am extremely proud of our June 16 page issue! We did it you guys, this would and could not be possible without the full dedication and determination of each staff member. I am very pleased with the front page, and I am in love with the amount of news articles we have for this issue. I say that because usually we don't even have enough to fill up two pages, however; this time we were actually running out of space. I did not expect any less of the work I saw from each reporter. Each member stepped it up and did whatever was in their ability to contribute to this almost perfect paper. I am so glad that we were able to pull together a 16 page issue something we've been wanting for the past year. I like my stories, especially the Grad Night one although it wasn't as big as it had started to be. I like my features (prom) layouts and I am very happy we got the girls to write a friendship op/ed piece, I feel like it probably made every group of friends pretty sentimental. Overall, I couldn't be any more proud of our last piece. Looks like our "baby" is done for this year. I look forward to see many more great issue for the upcoming year. Great work you guys!
I thought I had submitted my comment before, but unfortunately I'm assuming I pressed the preview button instead. I have to say that I'm extremely proud of our teamwork and complete confidence in achieving our goal. I really loved seeing all of us come together to create our masterpiece, our sixteen-page issue. Maria, Karina, and I have dreamed of having one and we're lucky to have had such a willing and capable staff. I am very happy with everyone. All the stories were high-quality and were noticeably better than past efforts. I'm happy with our work. -Karla
