You were meetin' and greetin' like pros. I thought the event went well. Hopefully, this will make things easier when you go to interview these people.
One reminder: Interviews need to be done in person, not by email. If you interview someone in person, then later, you look at your notes and you realize you need to talk to them again, go in person. If you can't reach them, then you can send an email. Also, don't take, "just email me the questions" from an adult. Explain that your teacher requires you to practice the skills of interviewing and notetaking. Email does neither.

Yo! I thought that the meet and greet went swimmingly. Victor, Daisy, and others I cracked down on to remove some of their shyness performed excellently and the whole staff has my unending admiration, also thank you all for turning in your articles on time.
ReplyDeleteAfter a shy start I ended up talking to three adults. The meet and greet helped me overcome some of my problems of talking to the principal and staff and seems it has improved my verbal ability.

I thought it went great also. I met the new administrator of TCA and was able to talk about some ideas I had for an article on the changes they have made. Everyone looked like they had a good time. - Kim soto
ReplyDeleteI thought it was really good,except for the fact that most of us,students,took over the food table...haha. I had a good chat with Grijalva and Aldana though. I was kind of scared to talk to Ms.Sanchez though,but hey.there's always next time. :)

It went over pretty well, if I do say so myself. Took a while to get used to things and actually mingle, but once we did, we took off. Good experience overall

I think the meet and greet went amazing , compare to last year. I am really glad that everyone introduced themselves to at least one person. I really enjoyed it and I got many new story ideas for next issue. I got more information for some stories and I would like to share it out aloud tomorrow. Overall, I appreciate everyone collaboration,it went pretty great.
